Background and Release[]
"Start Over" is the OST of JTBC's drama "Itaewon Class," which was an overwhelming hit as well as the drama. It is said that lyricist Seo Dong-seong, who participated in writing the lyrics for 'Start Over', wanted to invite her as the singer for the remake after seeing the video of Yuuri's 'BETELGEUSE', which Siyeon recently covered.[1]

The song "Start Over" was released as the OST theme song for JTBC's drama "Itaewon Class". With its upbeat melody and hopeful lyrics, it was a huge hit among the drama's audience as well as countless listeners.
In fact, "Start Over" swept to the top of various music charts at the time and fought a fierce battle with BTS's "ON" for the top spot. In 2022, a Japanese version of the song was released as part of a drama remake for Asahi TV's "Roppongi Class", which also became a huge hit in Japan. As such, the song continues to be loved even now that the drama has concluded.
This new version of "Start Over" features an addictive melody in the chorus as well as a light and cool sound that captures the story of the main characters who dream of a life without consequences for their convictions.
In addition to combining Siyeon's vocals with the strong melody of the original song, this new version of "Start Over", is orchestrated based with an energetic arrangement, making it distinct from the original song.
