"Raid of Dream" is the 1st Special Album by Dreamcatcher. It was released on September 18, 2019 in collaboration with the mobile game King's Raid, with "Deja Vu" serving as the title track.
It was available in three physical versions: Normal version, Limited version and a Kihno Kit version.

Background and Release[]
On September 2, the group released a teaser photo via Instagram in several parts. It was shared with the caption, “Mystery Code #01.” Since DreamCatcher usually begins previewing their comeback with Mystery Code teasers, many fans are excited about the prospect of a comeback from the group! The group’s special mini album “Raid of Dream” is set to be released on September 18.
On September 10, a source from Dreamcatcher Company shared, “[The game] has many similarities with DreamCatcher in that it was released in 2017, has a unique universe, and caused a great sensation in both domestic and global markets. Therefore, we are confident that this collaboration will create a greater synergy in the music and game markets.”
A source from Vespa, the gaming company that produced King’s Raid, also said, “It is a collaboration project that began as a novel combination of games and another form of culture. We ask for you interest in this collaboration project between King’s Raid, a mobile RPG with an unexpected storyline, and DreamCatcher, who has built a unique fantasy universe with their albums.”
On September 18 at 6 p.m. KST, the girl group released their mini album “Raid of Dream” along with the music video for the title track. The date coincided with MINX's 7th anniversary.

This special gift has arrived for 'InSomnia' around the world. Dreamcatcher's special mini-album, "Raid of Dream". In collaboration with 'King's Raid', have created another unique and different world.
"Raid of Dream" and its title track, "Deja Vu", tell the story of Dreamcatcher's dreams which have been incorporated into the world of "King's Raid". With the theme of the main storyline and plot of 'King's Raid', it expresses the unfortunate confrontation, the sense of vision, and the challenge of pursuing a single existence and goal that cannot be given up in the midst of questions and confusion where dreams and nightmares intersect.
In particular, the combination of King's Raid's world and Dreamcatcher's unique 'Ton & Manner' opened the door to a completely different world.
The overall composition of the album is also noteworthy and colorful. If the title track, "Deja Vu", opened a new world full of unique stories with "King's Raid" the rest of the album enhances the listening pleasure by incorporating all the behind-the-scenes details of the "nightmare story" that Dreamcatcher has been telling us so far.
For this, the production duo that brought Dreamcatcher to life has once again come to work. LEEZ and Ollounder, who have been working together since "Nightmare" and their debut, served as the producers of the special mini-album, adding Dreamcatcher's unique musical flover to this new world. The result is a special mini-album that is both familiar yet new.
Dreamcatcher concluded the Nightmare Series with The End of Nightmare. And while they're preparing for the next installment, there's still one more story to tell: the special mini-album Raid of Dream. It's time to take a journey into the curious and unique world of Dreamcatcher and the King's Raid.

전 세계 'InSomnia'를 위해 특별한 선물이 도착했다. 드림캐쳐의 스페셜 미니앨범 [Raid of Dream]이 바로 그것. 이들은 '킹스레이드'와의 협업으로 독특하면서도 색다른 또 하나의 세계를 탄생시켰다.
[Raid of Dream]과 타이틀곡 '데자부 (Deja Vu)'는 '킹스레이드' 세계에 녹아든 드림캐쳐의 꿈 이야기를 그린 작품이다. '킹스레이드'의 메인 스토리를 테마로 안타까운 대립과 기시감, 그리고 꿈과 꿈이 교차하는 의문과 혼란 속에 포기할 수 없는 단 하나의 존재와 목표를 향한 도전을 표현했다.
특히 '킹스레이드'의 세계관과 드림캐쳐의 독특한 Ton & Manner가 어우러지면서, 전혀 다른 매력을 가진 세계의 문이 활짝 열렸다.

Critical reception[]
Specialized digital media Seoulbeats said about the album that “Raid of Dream offers exactly what you would expect from a Dreamcatcher release. While it does not add anything surprising, it is a formula that continues to work for the group. The disappointment that arises then is mainly due to the fact that they have simply had more creative and comprehensive releases in the past. " On the lead track, they noted that "In particular, the lower voices of Dami and Handong can shine through in the song and are a magnificent contrast to the emptier verses that are conveyed mainly by the emotional melody of the piano."
The AllKpop site stated in its review that “In general, while this album is a bit different from other Dreamcatcher works, it is also quite similar. We have songs ranging from pop to pop rock and we have the lonely ballad. They seem to be putting more piano sounds on their albums, which means a slightly different sound, but the threat lurking at the edge of music is still there. "
