"Nightmare · Escape the ERA" (stylized as 악몽 · Escape the ERA and commonly referred to as Escape the Era) is the 2nd Mini Album by Dreamcatcher. It was released on May 10, 2018 with "You and I" serving as the title track.
It was available in two physical versions: Outside Version and Inside Version.
It is the fourth installment of the Nightmare Series and originally announced as the final album in the series, however, this ended up being false with the release of "The End of Nightmare".

Background and Release[]
On January 12, 2018, Dreamcatcher released the special anniversary single "Full Moon" with a message at the end announcing they would make a comeback in March. However the group announced on March 25 that it would be delayed until May in order to better the quality of the album and not rush the release. On April 27, they revealed on Instagram their comeback schedule and album title, to be released on May 10

Dreamcatcher's new mini-album "Nightmare - Escape the ERA" is, as the name suggests, is a continuation of their unique nightmare series fantasy story and the conclusion of an era. Dreamcatcher has been writing unique stories since their debut, coloring the world with nightmares beyond South Korea. Seven Nightmares, who surprised the world, will put a comma, not a period, on their nightmares with their new mini-album [Nightmares - Escape the ERA].
The new object Dreamcatcher has brought to the world in [Nightmare - Escape the ERA] is a camera. Dreamcatcher, which has been presenting a unique mysterious concept with contradictory images, composed the mini-album with charming stories about the ambiguous boundary between reality and dreams, inner and outer, one and the same, through the camera. In particular, Dreamcatcher's love for 'InSomnia' was revealed by melting the confession that you and I will always be together despite the loss of the boundary with the title track 'YOU AND I', which is the album's white beauty.
Not only 'YOU AND I' but all five tracks that make up 'Nightmare - Escape the ERA' are filled with Dreamcatcher's unique atmosphere and sound. The music world of the 'Seven Nightmares', which is both similar yet different, is expected to quench the thirst of listeners with Dreamcatcher's unique sensibility, which is quite different from the existing girl groups.
