"What (Japanese Ver.)" (stylized as "What-Japanese ver.-") is the Japanese Debut Single by Dreamcatcher. It was released on November 21, 2018 with the song of the same name serving as the title track.
The physical version of the album featured 3 versions: the regular one, and 2 limited, Type A and Type B and also with a DVD.

It was released on November 21, 2018 with three tracks, What (Japanese Ver.), Chase Me (Japanese Ver.), and I Miss You. Both What (Japanese Ver.) and Chase me (Japanese Ver.) are Japanese versions of lead singles of previous albums, while I Miss You is an original song in Japanese. The chosen title track of the single is What (Japanese Ver.), with a music video released by Pony Canyon for the song. The album was released on the heels of the group's fifth mini album, Alone in the City, and shortly after the group wrapped up the third leg of the Welcome to the Dream World tour in Japan.

Dreamcatcher's Japanese Debut Single! [What-Japanese ver.-]
Last month, Dreamcatcher released its official Japanese debut single, "What-Japanese ver.-", after extensive pre-promotions in Tokyo and Osaka, Japan. Through the Japanese pre-promotion, Dreamcatcher raised the interest and anticipation of Japanese fans and media for the release of this debut single to the highest level.
The title track of the Japanese debut single, "What-Japanese ver.-", is the Japanese version of the title track "What" from their 3rd Mini Album "Alone in The City", which has already been released in Korea, and the music video has received 1.3 million views on You Tube in just 10 days. The single also includes a Japanese version of Dreamcatcher's Korean debut song "Chase Me" and a brand new Japanese original song "I Miss You" for fans.
Dreamcatcher is making waves in the K-Pop scene in Japan with their metal-rock sound and dynamic pop performance, which is rarely seen in any other girl group.
